Reflecting on AUTOMATIK Fair 2026

Stork Drives was proud to take part in AUTOMATIK 2026 in Brøndby, Denmark, bringing together industry professionals and companies from across the automation sector.

Thomas, Sales Representative in Denmark, and Michelle, Marketing and Communication Responsible, represented Stork Drives at the fair, and they share their perspectives on the conversations, trends and key takeaways from this year’s event.

Looking back at Automatik 2025 in Brøndby, what stands out to you most from the fair and the conversations you had?

Thomas: The exhibitors were well prepared for Automatik and have build up some very nice booths. And the visitors were very much willing to have a conversation about their needs. They came with a lot of qualifies questions which was great.

Michelle: For me, one of the highlights was the great energy around the fair and the high level of engagement from visitors. It was great to see people taking the time to stop by our booth, ask questions and learn more about Stork Drives and our solutions. I also really enjoyed seeing how our booth activities, including the punching bag challenge, helped create an engaging atmosphere and gave us an easy way to connect with people.

What customer needs, challenges or industry trends came up most often during your conversations? What do you think they tell us about where the automation industry is heading?

Thomas: There were a lot variety in the questions from the customers, but robotics were the high scorer of topics.

Michelle: From a marketing perspective, it was interesting to see how different industries are looking for increasingly precise, reliable and efficient motion solutions. It shows how important it is for us to communicate not only what our products do, but also how our solutions can help solve real challenges for customers.

What are your key takeaways from the fair for Stork Drives, and is there anything that has particularly inspired or surprised you?

Thomas: That there is a lot to follow up on. This year was much better than 2024. Great job by MCH to create such big focus on the fair. Michelle: My biggest takeaway is the number of valuable conversations and opportunities we had. I was also impressed by the strong engagement at the fair and the interest in Stork Drives and our solutions. It was a well-organised and active event that gave us plenty of inspiration and content to take with us going forward.
